After Dark was a series of popular screensaver software for Mac and Windows PCs. On top of their own creations, they also made licensed screensaver packs, one of the being Star Trek. These screensavers are all based on The Original Series, with lots of sound effects from the show.
The screenshots are quite fun, with Horta chasing redshirts, a very bizarre mission, ship flybys, various shop panels, an animated Spock appearing on your screen and much more. One of the screensavers is a trivia quiz that you can interact with and answer questions using the number pad.
While I think screensavers are quite useless and a waste of energy, it’s a nice little package.
