Trexels 2 brings the first game and gives it the very marketable “throw in everything from all shows” thing that the mobile Star Trek games love because it’s great for lootbox opportunities. The ship building is more of the same: lots of tapping and wait timers, with the ability to pay real money to make the progression quicker.
The biggest change are the away missions, which look like they could be interesting as they’re an X-COM style turn based strategy….but from reviews, it’s very shallow and you’ll eventually encounter missions where you need to grind forever to upgrade characters enough to complete, or pay money to do so.
The servers for this game were shut down, so there’s no way to play it.

This one was MUCH better. Not as micro transaction heavy, honestly. Better visuals, better music, better execution. It just had no post-game support. They put the game out, then they barely touched it after. Sucks, cuz I was actually into this game, and I hated the first one.
