The team come out of the stargate and there’s only a tiny island, with everyone narrowly avoiding the water. Stacey and her quad bike end up in the water due to a wave. Harrison swims down and saves her, bragging about how he’s won swimming competitions and is the best swimmer ever, something he’ll continue to do for the entire episode.
Da’kyll reports to the Tlak’kahn elder about being unable to capture the ancient and not knowing where it is, but says he knows they’ll turn up. After he leaves, his subordinate, Pahk’kal, speaks to the elder. He has bounty hunters with him, promising that they can get results. When Da’kyll discovers this later on, he is not happy at all.

Ec’co, Seattle and Draga head to the main island to build a raft for the bigger vehicles, but get captured by aquatic people. As Harrison says he’ll swim to the island himself, the rest of the team get taken by them, but by the time they’re taken to the main island, it seems the trio have won over the trust – they’re all welcome.
We meet Sewan, the leader, who distrusts landers (but realises this team is different), Sargal, who seems open to trading and his daughter, Tulana. Her and Harrison start flirting almost immediately, with her finding Harrison boasting about his swimming skills (to an aquatic race) to be endearing. The Tsurai are happy for them to stay while they get their vehicles repaired.

It seems like Sargal has been making deals with landers in secret, including the bounty hunters now working for the Tlak’kahn. They demand to have Draga if he wants his people to continue living in peace. Sargal is initially unwilling to help, but realises he won’t be able to get medicine for his people or other supplies, so he tells them of the connection between here and Seattle – if they kidnap her, Draga will come to find her.
Harrison helps out recover the quad bike from the water, showing that he is at least a good swimmer. Afterwards, he and Tulana have a chat on the beach, but Tulana just gets fed up of Harrison talking about his swimming abilities for so long – he’s more interested in boasting than to actually talk to her, so she storms off. Sargal finds him and asks him to prove his boasting, competing with him in the most dangerous swimming race they have – something which will be a distraction for the bounty hunters.

In the morning, Seattle is missing. Bonner sends Sydney, Ec’co and Draga to find her, with Draga getting there first and being captured herself. Sydney and Ec’co pursue on a boat. Meanwhile, Bonner tries to stop Harrson from doing the race but is too late. Luckily, Harrison is actually a good swimmer and manages to keep up with Sargal, even saving him from a large octopus creature, which follows them out of the caves.
The speedboat chase zooms past across the finish line, with Bonner using a jetpack to pick up Harrison and use him as a lure for the giant octopus. The bounty hunters throw down their captors in fear and flee through the stargate, with the octopus also going through and attacking the Tlak’kahn elder.

Sargal apologises, but Bonner asks Sewan to go easy on him – if the Tsurai were more open with trading, then he wouldn’t have been forced into such a situation. Sewan says they’ll be more open, and welcome everyone to return once their mission is over. Harrison apologises for bragging, and Bonner says that actions speak for themselves. They head through the stargate to their next planet.
