A point and click adventure game that boasted some very interesting graphics. It featured the whole cast from The Original Series (although due to declining health, Maurice LaMarche took over from DeForest Kelly part way through development). It was going to have six chapters, each focusing on a different member of the crew with an interconnected plot. It revolved around peace talks on Vulcan between them and Romulans, with the Romulan ambassador being murdered.

There are a few videos of cutscenes and a couple of trailers, but this YouTube video shows how the game would have played:

I remember reading about this in a couple of PC magazines at the time and getting really excited about it. A shame really
I’ve always wished someone could take over the work and finish it.
This is my lost holy grail ….. Majel Barrett’s script was auctioned off, but I’ve never seen another copy available. I would love to even just read the story of this game….. it’s so sad that it never got finished. Apparently there was a playable behind-closed-door demo at E3
I remember seeing that trailer for this somewhere and watched it ALL the time because I thought it looked so cool.
What couldve been. This may have ended been high tier Trek game greatness. DC Fontana tried to get the rights so she could turn it into a novel but wasnt able to. DeForest Kelley ended up been replaced by voice actor Maurice LaMarche
surprisingly good graphics for ’99!
If the original crew did enough of the voices, Paramount was sitting on a gold mine.
Kind of like the original animated series.
With some modern CGI, they could release a whole new game and series.
The holy grail of Star Trek videogames
Holy crap, without the cg characters, I’d have assumed the bridge and corridor were the actual sets, and not a video game
