The team are on the run from the Tlak’kahn once again, but Bonner thinks that it’s odd that they aren’t chasing them too hard – he suspects a trap. He sends Harrison ahead, who makes a difficult flight through the trees and accidentally defeats the ambush, although his Jetpack gets damaged. They all make it to a new planet, where only the tops of mountains are visible, with clouds of sulphur below them.
Bonner explains that he’s been here before, and that the people here are the H’Roon. It’s brought up that the Tlak’kahn know all his missions, but he says it’s so long since they went to a planet from his previous missions that he thinks the Tlak’kahn will have moved on. They encounter a Tlak’kahn probe, but the H’Roon swoop down on dragon-like creatures and take it out (although it’s obvious that the Tlak’kahn will investigate probes that don’t report back).

The H’Roon greet Bonner, then invite Harrison to ride on one of the dragons. As he’s an ace at flying, he acts like he’s going to get it right the first time, but ends up falling into a sulphur cloud and needing to be rescued by Draga. Seattle and Bonner tell him to take it slowly and be patient, as riding an animal is very different from using technology (even though the pet dog episode had the roles reversed) , but he refuses to listen and tries and fails in the exact same way multiple times.
Seattle and Bonner both greet their own dragons, who let them ride, much to the dismay of Harrison. They all get invited to a feast, but Harrison refuses a lift due to his pride, so they leave him behind. While everyone is partying, the Tlak’kahn arrive, and Harrison heads to the dragon waiting for him. He makes noises and greets, and it lets him fly. He warns the team and the H’Roon, with the H’Roon saying they will help, as the Tlak’kahn destroyed their planet by using all its resources.

Riding on the dragons, the team and H’Roon manage to fight off the Tlak’kahn, creating another failure for Da’kyll (his second in command seems to be doubting him, but it goes nowhere) and Harrison says he’s learnt that sometimes you have to try a different approach instead of doing the same thing again and again.
With how much Harrison has bragged and succeeded, it’s nice to see him finally fail and have to actually work towards something. He was an annoying character and this adds some slight depth to him.
