When trying to locate the original 2002 version of mobile Castlevania, I stumbled across this version (the second part at least) of the 2004 mobile port that I can’t seem to find anywhere talking about.

I presume it was made for older and more budget phones, as it runs in a smaller resolution than the main version, with another change which is a bit nauseating: the background is static. So only the front parts of the stage move. It’s really odd to play.

Footage of the game, though, still showed the same issues that plagued version one: namely, the gameplay was still very choppy. Simon controlled like molasses and it was very hard to get the hero to do much of anything.
