I didn’t know much about Jimmy Neutron before playing these games, but the more games I play, the more I despise him. He’s always doing dumb things that puts his friends and family at risk. In this game, he takes a spaceship to a comet and is so careless with the samples he gathers that he brings back (and lets loose) an alien life form that multiplies and terrorises a town. Of course, he’s fine with his friend being blamed for it.

The game results in a very tedious platformer where you have to find objects to create inventions (the game has a fancy creation menu, but what you can actually make is very limited. The applications for each gadget you make is also quite narrow and it’s never exciting to discover a new one. In fact, the game never gets exciting.

Poor
Jimmy Neutron: Attack of the Twonkies is a decent budget title. While lacking the kind of depth found in the typical platformer, Attack of the Twonkies manages to dish out mild amusement through a nifty invention system.
