Based on the 2005 Fantastic Four film, this is precisely the kind of low budget game you’d expect for a film tie-in. It’s a generic beat-’em-up where you can swap between different members of the Fantastic Four (although you only get access to a couple in many levels) and bash your way though countless enemies – you’ll be bored before the end of the introductory hospital levels.

The game supports co-op, but only for two people (crazy for a superhero group that has four members). On your own, your allies will knock down enemies, but not actually do any damage, which just adds to the tedium of knocking over so many enemies. The four members play mostly the same, apart from one or two special moves. This is just dull.

Poor
Anyone expecting greatness can consider their expectations trampled as of this moment. The Temporarily Entertaining Quartet? Certainly. The Sort Of Exciting-ish Posse? Possibly. But Fantastic? Forget about it.
