I don’t have all that much to say about this one. It’s another yearly basketball game that is just a slight improvement over the previous year. While I did applaud the camera of the previous version, I’m not entirely sure what they did to it this time, as I couldn’t find a setting that I felt comfortable with.

If there’s one criticism of NBA Live 2004, it’s that it feels strangely soulless, despite the stadium sounds, ‘modern’ music and excellent commentary. As unfair as this sounds, you can’t help but feel it’s got something to do with how slick – and thus clinical – everything is.
