The last of the Disney Sports branded video games has Mickey and Co take on Basketball, using the “Street” style 3-on-3 format. Even with so few characters, the very limited cast still means that teams consist of one known character and some generic ones, with one exception: Huey gets Dewey, and Louie backing him up.

While the game is quite easy, it’s also simple and quick, which I found to be a fun combination. Most basketball rules are gone and the few that remain can be turned off, making it more about stealing the ball than just blocking. Both other players can be passed to at any point, and the same applies when defending, so you can always take control of the character you want to. It’s not ground-breaking in any way, but fun for a quick go.

Fun
Following the footsteps of Disney Sports Skateboarding, this is another perfectly competent, yet mind-shatteringly pointless release from Konami. If you’re some kind of Disney mentalist you might get a vague flicker of excitement from this. If not, stay the hell away.
