A video game from Datel, the makers of the Action Replay cheat devices. It’s the only bootleg game on the GameCube, apparently made by using the inner ring of cheap games to trick the system’s security. It’s a collection of 10 cheap and nasty games originally created for the Game Boy Advance running on an emulator. Interestingly, the PS2 version of the game has a file labelled “delete me” on the disc – but it’s actually a ROM of Metroid Fusion. Here are the 10 games on the disc. Spoiler warning: they’re all horrible.
Bounty Hunter X

A nonsensical side scrolling shooter. First you’re flying a plane through the water shooting squids, then above a desert, still shooting squids (but with birds thrown in as well).
Chopper II – The Return

Dragon Tiles 3
A sliding tile puzzle.

Press A to move upwards. There were much better versions of this on Newgrounds at the time.

Invaders
A terrible clone of Space Invaders. I’m not even a fan of Space Invaders but even the good stuff is missing from this version.

Jetpack 2
This one wouldn’t load for me. You fly a little stick man around and shoot enemies.

Loop the Loop
A snake-like game where you collect fruit and form loops to kill enemies.

Paddle Panic
A breakout clone where you also control paddles on the top and sides. Runs so slow that the ball can move a vast distance before the image refreshes.

Popem!
A clone of Pang/Buster Bros. You fire a rod upwards to break bubbles into smaller parts. I’ve definitely played another clone at some point, but can’t remember where.

Proxima
A rather odd side scrolling space shooter where you move back and forth across the same small section, blowing up respawning enemies.

Super Power Shot
A sort of top down golf platformer, where you aim and set a power level to fire the ball. Probably the most well made game, even if it is still awful.
This is a barely functioning collection of games that would be awful if they even worked.

Worst
MaxPlay Classic Games is an unlicensed compilation of 10 also-unlicensed Game Boy Advance games, slapped onto a PS2/GameCube disc. As if that wasn’t lousy enough, the PS2 version plays music over the games rather than using the native music and sounds.
The Cutting Room Floor
Remake or remaster?
No.
Official Ways to get the game
No.
