More basketball, and the difficulty issues from the previous year are gone. The game overall feels much simpler, with tricks done by pressing the L button and a corresponding face button. The animation did seem oddly choppy, like it was running at a different framerate for the game, which is a shame as the game looks rather nice. Nothing seemed particularly stand-out about this one.

An NBA game has to be fast and fluid, but this is jerky and the animation is so poor it’s difficult to judge when to let go of the ball when shooting, and simple tasks like picking up a loose ball become tricky.
