Another Zatch Bell fighting game, but this one is different. Instead of being a one on one fighter, it’s now a Smash Bros clone. This does mean that one unique aspect of the previous games is gone: now only the demons fight, instead of occasionally getting help from the humans commanding them.

What I found extremely difficult with this game was keeping track of my character. A lot happens on screen and it just doesn’t do anywhere near as good a job as highlighting characters as Smash Bros does, instead getting lost in backgrounds the stages are constantly scrolling as well.

There’s also just no flow to the combat, and it’s just not clear how you get the points needed to win a match. When you play with the computer, you are also not able to select your opponents or a stage, just your character.

Poor
The gameplay is very simple, using only one or two buttons for the different attacks. The difficulty is well balanced and beating the computer becomes challenging and sometimes problematic, without becoming too difficult or frustrating. This game leaves out the story of the anime, and is instead about a dream tournament, organized by Dr. Riddles , that brings together the most popular characters from all seasons of the anime.
