This is a game where its existence is more interesting than the game itself. This one isn’t just a PAL exclusive game, but a game that was only released in France. It’s also the only video game I can think of that’s based on a full on comedy film, with the movie written and produced by Luc Besson (best known for The Fifth Element). From the few clips shown when the game boots, up, it looks to be a Naked Gun style police comedy, where a taxi driver (with a souped-up Bond style taxi) ends up getting roped into things every time.

The game itself, however, does not contain any of this humour, as it’s just a terrible driving game. Most of the time is spent following a fairly straight path forward as a generous time limit counts down. A few times across the 10 missions you’ll have to follow a target, which just means going a bit slower than normal. Two levels have a speed camera with a speed you have to beat and on a couple a large dump truck will drive in your way on a set path. The 10 missions should take half an hour. There is an additional “Taxi” mode, but that’s just a time trial on the same tracks.

On top of there being very little to the game, it also plays horribly. Your car is constantly steering off to the side, so you’ll have to be constantly correcting yourself when going in a straight line. The graphics are dull, there’s no voice and the game is just slow. This is all round dreadful.

Worst
This is one of the worst games on the GameCube system in my personal experience, but not the absolute worst. It’s exclusively released in France (even on the PS2 system) so it’s quite unique in that sense.
